The National Child Abuse and Neglect Technical Assistance and Strategic Dissemination Center (CANTASD) is a service of the Children’s Bureau, Office on Child Abuse & Neglect. Its focus is the front end of the child welfare system, creating resources and supporting peer learning activities for those engaged in primary and secondary prevention, child protective services and investigation, and multidisciplinary and interagency collaborations to promote the safety and well-being of children, youth, and families. We also support the National Citizen Review Panel Network and content development for the National Conferences on Child Abuse & Neglect.
The Children’s Bureau’s Office on Child Abuse and Neglect, through CANTASD, has partnered with Chapin Hall to develop a framework to support prevention planning efforts at the state and local levels. Join us for a 30-minute Digital Dialogue to learn more about this innovative approach and the experience in two pilot states: Colorado and South Carolina.
